Unpleasant Twisted Cynic's-ville

It really is a thrill when somebody commissions you to do a piece for something directly related with one of your heros. Here’s a poster I worked up for an upcoming CJ RAMONE show here in Panama. I spoke to the promotor and worked it out so that I’d be able to personally give CJ a silk screened pressing of this poster at some point during his visit. As anyone can imagine I’m pretty psyched. I’m really happy to be involved with this show in some way, it really is a privilege.

I don’t care what people say, CJ is as much a Ramone as any of ’em. The only Ramone I have a mild beef with is Richie, I honestly don’t feel he brought anything to band except for a couple of mediocre songs and some pretty sloppy drumming.
I remember once seeing an interview where CJ said that he was doing it for the fans, ’cause he himself was a fan and knew how lucky he was to be playing in The Ramones. I gotta’ say, you have to admire that kind of talk.

So without further ado, here’s the poster of CJ, there’s a hint to the Road To Ruin album cover in there for ya’.
